Applehead Gravity Festival 2009
Marketing and development of Applehead Gravity Festival 2009, held at Cadwell Park. November 2009.
This project assisted a group of engineering enthusiasts to market, develop and run a Gravity Sport Festival at Cadwell Park in the middle of the Lincolnshire Wolds in the Lindsey Action Zone. Forty soapboxes entered along with skateboarders and lugeboarders. Among the entrants were a number of schools using the opportunity to develop their technical skills by manufacturing their own soapboxes.

Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival
Funding has enabled the very popular Lincolnshire Wolds Walking Festival to continue and expand.
The Lincolnshire Wolds are designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty lying at the heart of the Lindsey Action Zone area. They constitute the highest ground in eastern England between Kent and Yorkshire.
A diverse programme of walks will be coordinated by a new Project Officer to take place in May each year and to take in the attractive vistas of the Wolds and the historic market towns that surround them. This attracts thousands of visitors many of whom take advantage of the opportunity to stay in the high quality accommodation available and to browse and shop in our historic market towns.
